SSD-DCDth

SSD-DCDth / Solid-State Decoupler device is used to isolate or clamp a DC voltage as well as ground AC voltage and ground AC voltage.

So that a safe working environment and required potentials can be maintained.

These devices are designed for a specific application in a Cathodic Protection environment in which they are employed in AC mitigation applications;

• over voltage protection of insulating joints,
• DC isolation
• AC grounding of Cathodically Protected structures.

Options for each type 

Cathtect’s SSD-DCDth product line consists of 5 standard sizes namely 1,2kA | 2kA | 3,7kA | 5kA | 9,5kA – Therefore each type has 6 different options of DC Threshold to choose from, but they are all @60Hz

Different DC Thresholds to choose from: 

• -2V to +2V
• -5,6V to +2V
• 9,2V to 2V
• 12,8V to +2V
• 16,4V to +2V
• -20V to +2V
